I specialize in supporting emerging and younger adults (16-40ish) in learning to move through moments of intense emotions without hurting themselves or sabotaging their relationships.
As a fellow survivor and cycle breaker, I understand the struggle to cope with anxiety and big feelings and that these experiences are exhausting and immensely complicated, often leaving you feeling like you’re both too much and somehow not enough…
When we’re unable to regulate this flood of emotions, many find themselves experiencing struggles with impulse control, self-harm, suicidal ideation, dissociation, substance use, as well as co-dependent and other unhealthy relationship patterns.
You might have intrusive thoughts and uncontrollable urges that leave you saying things you don’t mean or making choices you wish you hadn’t. You may feel disconnected or find it hard to focus. It’s so hard to trust yourself when you can’t hear the voice of your intuition and inner wisdom!
Discovering yoga (and a lot of therapy) gave me the tools I needed to proactively decrease opportunities for emotional vulnerability as well as to regulate my nervous system to help get through the hard moments without creating more harm in my life. You too, have everything you need already within you to learn hear the whisper of your intuition and bring calm to your system.
By marrying Eastern philosophies with Western psychology and neuroscience through Somatic Psychotherapy, I help people learn how to reconnect to their bodies and heal from trauma so that they can live more fully in the present and experience more control over their emotions.
You don’t have to keep feeling stuck, disconnected, overwhelmed, and out of control. Let’s work together to rediscover your center and remove barriers in the way of you feeling happier, more present, and living an embodied life as your truest expression of Self!
